Since last summer, following a clear vote by general practitioners in favour of the draft agreement before them, we are now governed by a new General Agreement. This agreement, which will oversee family physicians’ practices until 2015, contains several interesting measures. The gains made in terms of partial compensation for the practice expenses, bonuses for taking on new patients, the increase in the annual fee when a registered patient suffers from both a condition of mental health vulnerability and another condition of vulnerability, as well as investments in computerization, are a few concrete examples that can finally give us hope for the future. Some of these measures have been in effect since November 1; others soon will be. In this newsletter, you will find more detailed information about these measures, along with other helpful information. >>>

What is now on the table remains substantial on many levels and responds in whole or in part to all of our demands, as well as to long-standing demands of the Federation, in particular with respect to the priority granted to comprehensive patient care and the financial support for work carried out in offices. >>>
