The Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) welcomes the appointments of Dr. Réjean Hébert as Ministre de la Santé et des Services sociaux and Ministre responsable des Aînés as well Ms. Véronique Hivon as Ministre déléguée à la Santé publique et à la Protection de la jeunesse. The FMOQ wishes to collaborate with the new government team in office to improve access to health care, particularly that of primary health care.>>>

The Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) finds that the Government of Québec’s 2012-2013 budget is a sign of its desire to continue along the path laid down in recent years for the health sector: namely, a relatively stable increase in investments, around 5%, which will basically only cover the estimated cost increases in the system; and the continuation of current policies for the organization of care. >>>
